Murcia to Mazarron

It’s about 300m from the aircraft steps to the car park at Murcia airport. It doesn’t sound like a big thing but the 30+ minute trek from the plane to the bus at Heathrow is still fresh in my mind. Of course, my ever-faithful Health App sneered at the miserable step count.

Our friends Connie & Stuart met us and drove us to Mazarron. There are 2 options: the highway (direct, fast, slightly boring); the pretty way (shorter, slower, exciting). We went the pretty way.

Over the mountain, u-bends, some more like v-bends so sharp you run the risk of meeting yourself coming the other way. At the same time going very steeply downhill. In many theme parks you pay money for this sort of ride.
