Weymouth Bay

The bay is overlooked by the renovated Riviera Hotel, a 1930s building that’s done time as a chalet-hotel, a WWII American military hospital, and a Pontin’s Holiday Camp.

The nearby hillside has a large man on horseback carved into the chalk (up in the top right of the picture – it was too far to walk for a better shot)

And a distant view of Portland Bill
