Florence – The Red Bus Tour

A great way to see a city. The tour we took was an hour around the city in the middle of the day, with temperatures around 38C / 98F. We were upstairs on an open-topped bus (you don’t see much sitting downstairs). Fortunately we managed to get 2 seats at the back, under the shade of the almost completely rolled-back canvas roof. Those in front of us enjoyed the sunshine.

The tour took us through the city streets and up into the hills above the city for a magnificent view over Florence:

So enjoying your blog. Your photos and stories of Italy bring back so many wonderful memories. Did you get up to Fiosele (sp) above Florence on your tour? Looking forward to more posts. Colleen ☺
