A long day! Fortunately the weather was a little overcast so wandering about the park wasn’t too overwhelming. All of us managed some of the rides and some of us managed most of the rides in the 9 hours we spent there.
At one point it chucked down with rain but we were under cover queuing for 90 minutes for the Despicable Me ride, which was well worth the wait. When the rain was at its heaviest the roller coaster next door stopped. And the poor souls in a car close to the end of the ride had to sit it out for 5 minutes, getting absolutely soaked, until they started it up again. We, of course, were nice and cosy in our slow-moving line, edging ever so gently towards the start of our ride.
We did the Howarts thing, by far the busiest bit of the park. The pink bit to the right of the fire-breathing dragon is the fire. I was in the queue, what else, to get ice cream and almost missed it.
